
A case of the posttraumatic aneurysm of the left heart ventricle in a man of 30 developing 2 years after a knife wounding is described. Aneurysmorhaphy under conditions of the artificial circulation was performed. The postoperative period was complicated by polymicrobial sepsis. The long being of the patient under the artificial lung ventilation is noted.
