The value of radiopelvimetry is increasingly under question in cases of brow presentation except in cases of scarred uterus. Radiopelvimetry, in which the antero-posterior, transverse median and bi-sciatic dimensions were determined was carried out in 564 patients who gave birth during 1984. It would appear that cases of major narrowing have virtually disappeared and that most frequently encountered is transverse median narrowing. In this group of patients, the presence of a radiologically abnormal pelvis doubled the incidence of cesarians carried out during labor. Even if the biparietal diameter is included, it is very difficult to define a definite lower limit for eutocia. Radiopelvimetry is a useful indication but must leave an important place for the labor test.
