Abstract

Progress in drug delivery system (DDS) is described. Definition, type and merit of each DDS are discussed. The, most important subject of DDS is in cancer treatment, and various methods of cancer treatment using DDS have been studied. In addition to the cancer treatment, DDS is employed for the treatment of other diseases, and some of the DDS seem more useful than that in cancer treatment, which will be also available against cancer in the future.
