
Necessity of developing preventive medicine and increasing the efficacy of treatment-and-diagnostic process, as well as economic factors predetermine the expansion of use of modern technique in medicine and introduction of new technological principles. Fundamental scientific researches, development of new medical technique, progress in biotechnology, foundation of biotechnological centers, improvement of medical education and training of clinical engineers play a significant role in the solution of this problem. The experience of some countries in organization of training and use of biotechnologists in health service system is discussed.
