
In 1912 International Committee of the Red Cross and Red Crescent established a medal in honor of Florence Nightingale, still the most honorable award for nurses. In our country, there are no separate awards for nurses, they are awarded in the system of national awards, but medical authorities, major military medical institutions and public organizations have developed their own system of awarding the best nurses.
