Abstract

Existe una representación sobre la salud de las personas migrantes que se conoce como el efecto inmigrante sano. Aludido en múltiples estudios, se señala que las personas inmigradas tienen un estado de salud mejor que la población autóctona receptora. Este hecho se justifica desde diversos planos. Por ejemplo, al aludir a un proceso de autoselección de las personas más aptas para desplazarse o indicar que los tránsitos están frecuentemente protagonizados por personas con las conductas más saludables.
