Persistencias sociales en tiempos de precariedad

Abstract

Este libro es resultado de las reflexiones e investigaciones desarrolladas por un colectivo de amigos con experiencias en espacios comunitarios, sociales y académicos, en torno al eje de problematización «persistencias y precariedades» en América Latina. Con preguntas viejas y renovadas, el colectivo profundiza en la comprensión de las realidades latinoamericanas, caracterizadas por intrincadas relaciones de colonialidad, extractivismo, represión y exarcerbación de las políticas neoliberales. Como horizonte conceptual se sugiere la noción de precariedad con el fin de entender el despojo y la dominación de los territorios y las poblaciones en sus múltiples dimensiones. Junto a ésta, su contraparte dialéctica: la persistencia, vista como parte integrante del repertorio de vida de comunidades y sujetos subalternos, a través de la cual lidian con situaciones de precariedad y opresión. Este libro reúne textos que dialogan con los dos ejes temáticos propuestos, resultado de debates colectivos, lecturas críticas y experiencias de investigación en diferentes escenarios etnográficos de Latinoamérica. Su propósito es ampliar las fronteras de comprensión frente a las formas alternativas de ser, estar y permanecer en contextos de dominación.
