Abstract

Currently violence at workplace is an emergent psychosocial risk which has not its own legal regulation to eradicate its effects on the workers’s health. This thesis intends, at first place, to develop a theoretical framework that delimits and describes the main psychosocial factors and risk and the preventive measures can be taken, starting from the state of the matter described in the studies carried out on the measurement scale of the occupational safety management system and the studies of the European framework for psychosocial risk management. Secondly, this Thesis perfoms an empirical study in two phases. In the first phase, a documentary analysis to identify evidences and phases is carried out to develop a procedure for managing the risk of violence at work. In the second phase, such procedure is proposed with the name of PGViT which contains the main recommendations to manage this risk in a effectively and effectiveness way.
