[eng] In this article we analyze the unfolding of inventories and specific practices recommended in the Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage. We focus on how the variety of inventories in diverse countries is organized within specific juridical frames. We also pay attention to the different possibilities when drawing up inventories and their implications. We will also discuss how these rules have been turned into specific inventory projects and how the theoretical and methodological challenges in drawing up inventories are tackled.
