Abstract

El yacimiento arqueológico de L'Esquerda se encuentra estratégicamente situado en un meandro del río Ter, junto a la localidad de Roda de Ter (41º 59' de latitud Norte y 6º 0O' de longitud Este), aunque en realidad forma parte del municipio de Masies de Roda que se halla aproximadamente a 7 kms. de Vic. Su nombre, utilizado prematuramente, obedece a la gran cantidad de fracturas o diaclasas naturales que se formaron sobre la superficie rocosa, fenómeno que confiere un aspecto peculiar al terreno.
