Abstract

Al dar noticia de los contenidos del mundo, el viaje oceánico portugués ofreció al proceso intelectual renacentista la experiencia imprescindible para construir las bases del mundo moderno. Esas noticias se divulgaron rápidamente por Europa y, a su vez, se entrelazaron con las antiguas creencias y se inmiscuyeron en las novedosas e humanistas formas de explicación de la realidad.
