Abstract

No es esta la primera vez que se investiga sobre esta materia. Entendido como la superación, el aprovechamiento y la interiorización de los estudios cursados, el rendimiento académico ha sido objeto de estudio durante décadas y actualmente es una cuestión de debate en buena parte del territorio europeo. En España algunos autores apuntan que el cambio de modelo universitario de licenciaturas y diplomaturas a grados ha significado una reducción del éxito académico y un desigual comportamiento en cuanto al rendimiento (Esparrells, 2012). La preocupación de que el rápido cambio de modelo educativo del ámbito universitario haya tenido una influencia negativa en la adquisición de conocimientos y en las calificaciones finales de los alumnos, así como en la permanencia y superación de los estudios iniciados, lleva a la necesaria revisión del modelo educativo y de su aplicación práctica en los Estados partícipes del espacio europeo de educación superior (EEES)...
