Magmatismo paleozoico en el Macizo del Roc de Frausa (Pirineos Orientales)

Abstract

[ES] En el Macizo del Roc de Frausa se han diferenciado mediante criterios geoqui~nicosd os tipos diferentes de anfibolitas. El primer tipo lo forman metabasitas de afinidad toleitica y composición próxima a los E-MOIIB. Procedcn de niagmas poco evolucionados modcradanicntc bajos en potasio. Forman sills intercalados entre los nietasedimentos cambro-ordovícicos y están asociadas a porfiroides gneísicos. Los porfiroides gneisicos representan términos ácidos subaluminicos de carácter explosivo y afinidad calcoalcalina con un contenido medio en potasio. Su relación genética con las metabasitas es poco clara; se interpretan como diferenciados ácidos de estas con una importante mezcla de material cortical. Se sugiere para este magmatismo un ámbito geodinámico continental fini-compresivo en relación con cucncas marginales. El segundo tipo lo forman anfibolitas ricas en hierro y potasio, con una composición primaria probablemente modificada por el aporte hidrotermal que acompaña a la tectónica de fracturación hercinica. Forman también sills emplazados entre los ortogneises del Roc de Frausa y los metasedimentos paleozoicos y aparecen intensamente dcformadas.

[EN] In thc Kock de Frausa Massif two different geochemical types of amphibolites have been described. One type is formed by orthoamphibolites of tholeitic affinity and with composition similar to E-MORB, dcnved froni little evolved magrnas low in potassium. Tbey outcrop as sills interbedded with cambro-ordovician metasediments and are spatially related to augen gneiss levels. A continental marginal basin or continental back-arc is probably the orogenic setting of this magmatism. The second type is formed by high K and Fe amphibolites placed between the Roc de Frausa orthogneises and the metasediments. They are highly deformed and their primary composition has been probably modified by hydrothermal processes acompanying Hercynian fracturation tectonics.
