[ES] La alterancia de niveles arcillosos rojizos y limos amarillentos mas o menos encostrados por CaC03, constituyen uno de los elementos más tipicos del glacis del Pla de Barcelona. Esta secuencia ha recibido basta la fecha distintas interpretaciones sobre su origen basadas en criterios de campo y/o diferencias en sus minerales pesados los niveles rojos y los limos amarillos subyacentes son considerados vedaderos suelos diferenciados in situ por unos autores, mientras que son considerados como depósitos de diferente origen por otros autores.
[EN] A major feature in the piedmont slope which forms the (Pla de Barcelona) (Barcelona plain) is a sequence of alternated layers, reddish silty clays and yellowish silts. Such a sequence has received different interpretative origins based upon field observations or upon differencies in their heavy mineral contents.
