En los últimos años, algunos antropólogos como Appadurai o Kopitoff han propuesto una nueva lectura de cómo analizar la cultura material en el ámbito de la etnografía. The material culture represents for any archaeologist the basis for all research, since it is the key documentation on which theories and interpretations are built. In the last years, anthropologists such as Appadurai or Kopitoff put forward a new way of analysis on material culture in the field of ethnography. Sorne of their proposals, previously adapted, allow a wider reflection on the study of material culture, which we suggest here.
