Red social de intercambio de los inmigrantes chinos basada en el principio de reciprocidad: El caso de los comercios en el barrio Fondo de Santa Coloma

Abstract

Este trabajo parte de una investigación etnográfica centrada en una tienda de chinos ubicada en el barrio Fondo de Santa Coloma, con el objetivo de analizar cómo la comunidad migrante china construye redes sociales basadas en la reciprocidad. A través de seis meses de observación participante y entrevistas, se han identificado tres niveles principales de intercambio: dentro de la familia, entre amistades, y entre comercios de la comunidad. Mediante la aplicación de los conceptos de “capital social” y “guanxi”, se demuestra cómo, en contextos de escaso apoyo institucional, estas prácticas informales fortalecen la cohesión, la confianza y la resiliencia comunitaria. El estudio adopta una perspectiva de antropología inversa, desde la cual el investigador, siendo también chino, analiza su propio grupo cultural, situándose entre la figura del “insider” y el “outsider”. Esta mirada proporciona una comprensión más situada y reflexiva de las estrategias sociales que permiten a los migrantes chinos teixir vínculos y generar pertenencia en un entorno extranjero.
