Abstract

[eng] This article interrogates itself the generic specificity of the work Roland Barthes by Roland Barthes because it is between the limits of fiction, autobiography and essay. Starting from the theoretical specifications of the German philosophical tradition, which understands the essay as a fragmentary form of study, shows a theoretical proximity between Adorno and (the self-proclaimed French essayist) Barthes, who in the same way as Montaigne, treat to explain himself without results because he never finds the totality of himself due to the fragmentary dispersion and the emptiness behind the language.
