Transformaciones en la distribución del poder a escala global: ¿China puede ser la nueva potencia hegemónica mundial?

Abstract

Después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, Estados Unidos, como país victorioso, formuló reglas internacionales basadas en los intereses de Estados Unidos. Después de la desintegración de la Unión Soviética, el estatus internacional de los Estados Unidos no es comparable al de ningún país. Sin embargo, con la llegada de la crisis financiera en 2008, la hegemonía de Estados Unidos comenzó a colapsar luego de que su economía se viera duramente golpeada. Como uno de los países en desarrollo con el impulso de desarrollo más rápido del mundo, China le ha dado a Estados Unidos una sensación de amenaza. Si bien China siempre ha enfatizado que no importa la altura que alcance, nunca buscará la hegemonía, China es proclive al multilateralismo y está dispuesta a contribuir a la paz, la prosperidad y el desarrollo mundial. Pero pase lo que pase, el ascenso de China, su estatus e influencia cada vez más altos en el escenario internacional, definitivamente cambiará el orden mundial actual. A través de esta tesis, quiero averiguar qué tipo de patrón y orden tendrá el mundo futuro y qué papel jugará China en él.
