Ecos

Authors: Caballeros Afán, Encarna;
Abstract

[eng] This project Ecos proposes a reflection on a sculptural installation about what is own and personal in the social and political coexistence scene, through the lack of sound awarded to protests, marches and revolutions such as those produced by pans and others. The use of individual objects in a collective act brings us closer to society’s concept essence, but we only distinguish the noise generated in a specific context. It is here where I search the individual’s essence in society, the singular as the primary object of the various plurals that have been generated throughout history, transferring the pan not only to be a tool of a social relationship, but to serve as another basic function of the human being such as nutrition, staying on a individual level, adopting the various instruments, mostly pots and pans, where in our homes next to them we also reproduce the sound of a protest.
