Les noves tecnologies: el futur de l’educació

Abstract

La finalitat d’aquest estudi és obtenir resultats fiables sobre la implementació de les TIC en un centre educatiu, el qual tingui accés a les noves tecnologies en la majoria de contextos. El criteri que s’ha seguit per a la selecció de la mostra ha sigut la capacitat de participar dins del Projecte Samsung Smart School. Els participants de l’estudi han sigut voluntaris de l’equip directiu, docents i alumnes del centre. Els instruments utilitzats per a la recollida de dades han sigut entrevistes dirigides i semidirigides. Els resultats de l’estudi constaten que els beneficis que han aparegut en la implementació de les TIC dins d’aquest centre educatiu han sigut l’augment de la motivació, el treball de valors morals i l’augment de la interacció i la comunicació durant l’ús de les tecnologies. En canvi, els inconvenients que han aparegut han sigut la poca transversalitat de les assignatures i el fet de no crear noves estratègies per la cerca d’informació. Tot i això indica que els resultats han sigut favorables, ja que s’ha demostrat que les TIC milloren els processos d’ensenyament i aprenentatge dels alumnes d’aquest centre i l’escola ha mantingut l’objectiu principal d’impulsar l’aprenentatge dels alumnes a través de les noves tecnologies.

This study aims to obtain reliable results on the implementation of TIC in an educational center, which has access to new technologies in most contexts. The criteria used for the selection of the sample was the ability to participate in the Samsung Smart School Project. Study participants were volunteers from the school’s management team, teachers, and students. The tools used for data collection have been directed and semi-directed interviews. The results of the study show that the benefits that have appeared in the implementation of TIC within this school have been the increase of motivation, the work of moral values, and the increase of interaction and communication during the use of technologies. The disadvantages that have appeared have been the low transversality of the subjects and the fact of not creating new strategies for the search for information. However, it indicates that the results have been favorable, as TIC has been shown to improve the teaching-learning processes of students at this center and the school has maintained the main goal of promoting the learning of students through new technologies.
