[eng] La Obra y La Obra is a written investigation focusing on the connections between artwork and labour. Labour in this case refers to Marx’s productivist definition; manual work that requires skill and time, with an emphasis of the production of an artifact or the collection of a material. During the writing process, time was spent working on a construction site, and a number of artworks were produced. The investigation manifests itself in a series of painted images, accompanied by ceramic vases with live flower installations composed by Carolina Spencer.
