(eng) Currently exists an increasing interest to identify the possible reasons that could justify such a high persistence of wage differences between men and women. In this sense, there are many areas of activity in which discriminations are disappearing. However, the pay gap continues. There are alternative point of views on the reasons for this discrimination, but this paper aims to explore the possibility that these differences may be related (at least in part) to different attitudes and / or strategies in relation to the formation each individual has. Including within the concept "formation" the decision to study or not, the level of studies acquired, the continuous or non-regulated training or the labour insertion. To do so, three sources of information will be analyzed: two databases, one on the participation in the education of Spanish individuals and another on the labour insertion of university students. This is complemented by an exploration of awareness around the context of the pay gap, labour insertion or equality.
