[en] The application of the prosopographical analysis to the versions of the Sardican canons entitled authenticus latinus and interpretatio in usum ecclesiarum graecarum facta by their critical editor -which would be coetaneous to the "Western" council and written right there- allow us to know the intervention of Ossius of Cordova in their formulation and approval. This prominent chapter in the biography of the Hispanic bishop agrees with his relevant and exalted career in the ecclesiastic history during the Constantinian dynasty. Once dealt with the cases of those affected by the Eusebians and seemly also with doctrinal aspects, Ossius, as president of the synod, posed disciplinary norms regarding the great questions which originated the council and underlying it.
