Estudio de usabilidad de interfaces de usuario en portales de vídeo

Abstract

El objetivo de este proyecto consiste en evaluar las interfaces de usuario de diez portales de vídeo mediante dos métodos: (a) estudio inicial de los diez portales por medio del análisis descriptivo de once variables presentes en todos ellos y de sus elementos gráficos y (b) realización de un test de usabilidad centrado en el panel de control, con diez usuarios que cumplen el perfil de los consumidores de vídeo online. Este segundo método presenta un valor añadido a este proyecto porque ha servido para elaborar un informe con las recomendaciones de mejora para los diseñadores que pretendan prototipar una nueva interfaz de usuario, ya que como se podrá comprobar con los resultados obtenidos, se han detectado errores de usabilidad en los portales más conocidos y utilizados hoy en día en Internet.
