[spa] La obra surge a partir de una súbita inquietud por intentar entender. Estando inmersos en un estado de digitalización sin precedentes, el propósito del proyecto artístico es explorar las implicancias de vivir en un mundo donde los límites entre la virtualidad y la actualidad se funden. A partir de un código QR, como símbolo del sistema binario, se desarrollan iteraciones de este, las cuales entablan paralelos con nuestro mundo; nuestra participación en la virtualidad digital, la presencia de lo virtual en la vida cotidiana y las implicancias que estas dos tiene. En tanto, el código que aparenta ser el desencadenante de este proceso, es en realidad el perfil digital de la artista, de este modo las piezas resultantes se vuelven en una muestra del ser humano como ser codificable. Es así que el proyecto se torna en un constante interrogante en lo que concierne a, ¿qué es original?

[eng] The work arises from a sudden need of trying to understand. Being immersed in a state of unprecedented digitalization, the purpose of the artistic project is to explore the implications of living in a world where the limits between virtuality and actuality merge. Beginning with a QR code, as a symbol of the binary system, we developdifferent iterations from it, which establish parallels with our world; our participation in digital virtuality, the presence of the virtual in our everyday life and the implications these two have. Meanwhile, the code, which seems to be the trigger of this venture, is in reality the artist’s digital profile, this way, the resulting art pieces turn into examples of the human being as a codifiable entity. In this sense, the project becomes a constant question regarding, what is original?
