Supuesto ajuste del desajuste supuesto

Abstract

[eng] Attention spans are so short in our model of society, they stop us contemplating and reflecting, or simply getting in contact with the real image in front of us. This work intends to decelerate that reception by giving value to the time-perceptive suspensión that takes place in the step between assumption and meaning apprehension. Aspects like the construction of perception are observed in this work of experimental vision so as to create a zone of cognoscible freedom, all of it woven by poetic thinking. Visual experience is analysed here as well as its relationship with conscience; how the way we look configures reality and makes it historical; finally, how the viewable is the contingency of an image to make itself visible, thus creating the world. In order to illustrate that, I´ll analyse the perception of colours historically. The current need of immediacy and constant change ( another parameter that influences our conception of reality) characterizes this period in which disturbance in the perception of time is happening, the past as fiction, with no connection to nowadays, drawing on mechanicist paradigm, which takes us to a race without direction, consequently to the emptiness of existence. The work I am exhibiting uses the destructuring of the form to destabilize the logic in it. This way I am trying to provoke a moment of suspensión that opens up spaces and gives permission to a different individual interpretation that allows us re-read what we see. It is a reflection that puts our relationship with established reality in crisis.
