[eng] In our project we analyze and contextualize the verse 420 from Prometheus Vinctus, all its stasimon and the prologue of Euripides' Baccahe in order to find out why both works refer to Arabia and what mean these mentions mean, as they are not seen as geographically accurate since ancient times. Relating to the first text, we discuss if this Arabia is somehow related to the Herodotean country of aromatics or rather to some Colchians toponyms and the war-god Ares. When it comes to the second, we follow the meaning of the term 'Ἀραβία εὐδαίμων' along its history until it designates Yemen. Finally we determine if both Arabias refer to the same reality, how they relate to each other, what they brought to Greeks' mind in Vth century BC and how our research can be followed, pointing out what questions remain unsolved and how could be answered.
