Ambdues corresponen a formes agàmiques que produeixen gales en branques de mida petita sobre Q. humboldtii. S'exposen i il·lustren els caràcters morfològics que defineixen aquestes noves espècies.
Two new species of Zapatella (Hym., Cynipidae) from Colombia producing galls on twigs of Quercus humboldtii (Fagaceae) Two new species of Zapatella genus are described from Colombia: Z. inflata Pujade-Villar & Rodríguez n. sp. and Z. tuberosa Pujade- Villar & Caicedo n. sp. Both correspond to agamic forms producing galls in small branches of Q. humboldtii. The defining morphological characters of these new species are exposed and illustrated.
Se describen dos nuevas especies del género Zapatella para Colombia: Z. inflata Pujade-Villar & Rodríguez n. sp. y Z. tuberosa Pujade- Villar & Caicedo n. sp. Ambas corresponden a formas agámicas que producen agallas en ramas de pequeño tamaño sobre Q. humboldtii. Se exponen e ilustran los caracteres morfológicos que definen estas nuevas especies.
