The article deals with the use of personal pronouns in three Aristophanes's comedies (i.e. Lysistrata, Thesmophoriazusae, and Ecclesiazusae). The article shows how personal pronouns are used differently by male and female characters throughout the comedies. This confirms a claim usually made for modern languages, but never analysed for Ancient Greek.
