Industria 4.0 : una nuova rivoluzione?

Abstract

Il tema di una prossima rivoluzione industriale è complesso: prospetta scenari positivi, ma non è scevro di preoccupazioni per il futuro. La possibilità di una nuova rivoluzione industriale e le sue relazioni con i programmi strategici “Industria 4.0”, finalizzati ad agevolare i processi di innovazione tecnologica delle imprese, sono trattati nel dibattito pubblico a volte in modo semplicistico e confuso. L’articolo assume che una rivoluzione industriale sia prima di tutto un fenomeno sociale, in cui gli strumenti tecnologici sono importanti abilitatori di cambiamento, ma non esauriscono le ragioni di novità del cambiamento, che si trovano invece primariamente in nuovi ruoli per gli individui nelle organizzazioni e per le organizzazioni nei sistemi tecno-socio-economici. Su questa base si propone l’ipotesi che un’eventuale prossima rivoluzione industriale avrà a che vedere con una nuova concezione dell’intelligenza, di cui qualche caratteristica è qui delineata.
