In bovine practices non steroideal antiflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are largely used for the treatment of different flogistic conditions. NSAIDs act through the inhibition of cyclooxygenase (COX 1, COX 2, COX 3)and lipoxigenas which are responsible of the production of the inflammatory mediators: prostaglandins, prostacyclins, thromboxanes leucotrienes etc.
