The book Donne, diritto, diritti. Prospettive del giusfemminismo, edited by Thomas Casadei, collects 12 essays – more a Preface by Carla Faralli and an Afterworld by Thomas Casadei – that deal with several topics related with legal gender studies. This comment mainly concerns two of these topics: the role of stereotypes and gender violence. Moving from some claims made in the book, the author makes some observations on the relationship between gender stereotypes and violence and, above all, on the legal means to prevent gender violence.
