Abstract

Il personaggio di Margherita da Trento emerge in modo positivo nonostante sia avvolto da un mito negativo perdurante nei secoli. Emergono inoltre numerose "Margherita" a dimostrazione della vitalità attrattiva di un personaggio che addirittura diventa protagonista davanti a frate Dolcino nel momento della morte. A partire dalle indagini su Margherita è possibile gettare nuova luce sul ruolo femminile nell'eresia dei "nuovi apostoli".
