La Regione Ebraica in Russia : Birobidzhan: la prima Israele

Abstract

Il caso-studio della Regione Ebraica della Russia, creata nel 1928 e sopravvissuta a una tragica storia fino a oggi, viene esaminato con gli strumenti dell'indagine storica, politologica, delle Relazioni Internazionali, inter-etniche, della teoria federale, al fine di comprendere i meccanismi della convivenza fra etnie e nazionalità in rapporto alla collocazione internazionale di un'entità politica che è stata la prima di stampo ebraico nel mondo. Il caso della Regione Ebraica, non solo rivela una storia insospettata e dimenticata, ma solleva rilevanti e complesse questioni in tema di Relazioni Internazionali, di assetti politici, di interazione fra etnie e induce a gettare uno sguardo, con una lente diversa rispetto a quella statocentrica abituale, su quanto accade in Medio Oriente e in Israele, imprigionati in una condizione di conflitto permanente, difficilmente separabile dalla complessità di immaginare e adottare forme alternative di convivenza.
