Abstract

Le politiche migratorie investono la gestione dei confini, la risposta all’immigrazione irregolare, il trattamento dei rifugiati, ma anche tematiche interne allo spazio nazionale che toccano corde profonde, come la cittadinanza, l’integrazione dei nuovi arrivati, la relazione con la diversità culturale e religiosa, il contrasto verso razzismi e discriminazioni. Questioni complesse, su cui occorre riflettere sulla base di dati obiettivi, risultati di ricerca, comparazioni internazionali. Con questo obiettivo, il testo fornisce ai lettori una guida chiara e organica per orientarsi e approfondire l’argomento. Derivante dall’esperienza di ricerca e di insegnamento degli autori, è suddiviso in due parti: una verte sulle politiche dell’immigrazione, l’altra riguarda le politiche per l’integrazione.
