Abstract

The present invention concerns the use of P130Cas/BCAR1 protein and/or encoding gene for the screening for substances useful in the treatment of tumors. The present invention also concerns a method for the diagnosis of malignant cell growth comprising the measuring the expression of P130Cas/BCAR1 gene. The invention concerns also non-human transgenic animals as model study for human pathologies, preferably cancer, being transgenic for having altered P130Cas/BCAR1 and Neu-T expression
