Il fascino oscuro del cesarismo progressivo

Abstract

Oggetto dell’intervento è riflettere sul «cesarismo progressivo» (Gramsci), il ruolo storico di una «grande personalità», e il suo rapporto con il costituzionalismo. Quali tensioni si manifestano tra la figura del capo e il costituzionalismo, come limitazione del potere, come garanzia dei diritti e come percorso di emancipazione? Riflettendo sulle criticità che il potere monocratico di tipo carismatico presenta anche quando si situa nell’orizzonte della liberazione, ovvero su esperienze riconducibili in senso lato ad un cesarismo progressivo, si evidenziano i rischi che la scelta del capo veicola in sè. Sommario. 1. Verticalizzazione del potere e carisma. Intorno all’oggetto, agli obiettivi e al metodo dell’intervento; 2. Il fattore “tempo” tra rivoluzione e stato di eccezione permanente; 3. Non solo squilibrio dei poteri: spoliticizzazione e neutralizzazione del conflitto; 4. L’uomo di fiducia e il potere carismatico: passività e affidamento; 5. Il costituzionalismo come antitesi e antidoto al capo
