Abstract

Di Platero y yo, l'opera più nota e tradotta di Juan Ramón Jiménez, si sono contate nel nostro Paese numerose edizioni, dagli anni '40 ai giorni nostri. Tuttavia il testo è stato troppo spesso oggetto di letture fuorvianti e distorte, orientate al didattismo e a una presunta 'pedagogia lirica' sempre rifiutata dal suo autore. Nel contributo si intende mettere in luce questo aspetto attraverso la ricognizione delle traduzioni e delle pubblicazioni in lingua originale apparse in Italia soprattutto tra gli anni '60 e '70 del secolo scorso.
