Abstract

Il saggio analizza le origini storico-filosofiche e le applicazioni istituzionali del concetto liberale di neutralità assiologica della sfera pubblica. A partire da questa analisi l'autore propone una critica alle posizioni di Rawls e Habermas rispetto al ruolo che deve essere attribuito alle convinzioni religiose nella sfera pubblica contemporanea facendo riferimento alla nozione di "consensus par confrontation" di J.-M. Ferry.
