At the beginning of the XX century, in Russia, there was a great burst of interest and enthusiasm for pragmatism that involved the circles of intelligencija, the Academic milieu, and the most influential and widespread monthly reviews. On such a background, new discussions were held among Russian Marxists about the questions that pragmatism pointed out, first of all the view of truth, as deeply connected with human activity.
