The present volume presents case studies corresponding to applications of GIS which results collaborate with the (re)definition of urban land policy. The 19 chapters correspond to work developed in 9 Latin American countries and were selected based on their geographic distribution, replicability and relevance. The topics were grouped in 3 areas: informal settlements, urban cadastre and urban studies.
