Abstract

Le 15 octobre 2023 marque le 21e anniversaire de l'article de Roy Tennant "MARC Must Die". Avec un clin d'œil à MARC21, cet article soutient que BIBFRAME n'est pas la voie à suivre pour la description bibliographique et présente cinq raisons pour lesquelles BIBFRAME n'est pas la solution.

October 15, 2023 marks the 21st anniversary of Roy Tennant's article "MARC Must Die." With a nod to MARC21, this article argues that BIBFRAME is not the way forward for bibliographic description and offers five reasons why.
