Cor triatriatum dexter: diagnostic chez 2 chiens

Abstract

Cet article rapporte deux cas de cor triatriatum dexter (CTD) chez des chiens adultes, avec des présentations cliniques différentes. Le premier cas concerne un cairn terrier femelle de 2 ans et demi, présenté pour une distension abdominale survenue brutalement. Le second cas se rapporte à un spitz moyen mâle de 2 ans, présenté pour l’investigation d’un souffle cardiaque. L’échocardiographie révèle la présence d’une membrane perforée divisant l’atrium droit en deux chambres. Dans le second cas, le CTD est associé à une sténose pulmonaire sévère expliquant le souffle. Cette découverte est atypique dans les deux cas, étant donné l’âge adulte des chiens et l’absence de symptôme pour le second cas.
