Après avoir montré l'intérêt politique, méthodologique et scientifique des recherches menées par les ethnologues et les muséologues de l'Amérique francophone, Françoise Lempereur met en évidence les difficultés que pose la notion de "patrimoine" Outre-Atlantique.

After having focused on the political, methodological and scientifical significances shown by the French speaking American researches, Françoise Lempereur reveals their problem in defining the concept of "heritage".
