Abstract

The oil of Eucalyptus saligna ( collected on the campus of the University at Kinshasa ( Zaire or Democratic Republic of Congo) has insecticidal properties (against flies, lice, mosquitoes, bed-bugs, black-beetles) and contains mainly : 1,8-cineol, alpha-pinene,borneol, alpha-terpineol and linalol.
