Las memorias de Ernesto Cardenal

Abstract

En este artículo se presenta un breve análisis de las cuatro últimas obras del poeta nicaragüense Ernesto Cardenal, con el fin de ofrecer un aporte a la crítica de la literatura centroamericana. Se explica por qué su narrativa se inserta dentro del género “memorias”, y se destaca la función textual que cumplen éstas. En un primer momento se efectúa un acercamiento a la biografía del autor y a su obra poética. Y posteriormente se estudian los libros que integran sus memorias, para finalmente abordar el sentido que adquieren en ellas la intratextualidad, el amor femenino y la denuncia política
