Marcadores moleculares en raicilla (Psychotria ipecacuanha)

Abstract

Se caracterizaron por medio de la técnica de isoenzimas y RAPD 5 ecotipos de (Psychotria ipecacuanha). Los resultados obtenidos son parciales; sin embargo, es clara la presencia de polimorfismos en las diferentes enzimas analizadas. En lo que se refiere a los análisis de RAPD, se presenta una diferencia clara entre el ecotipo Larga con relación a los otros. Sin embargo, al igual que en el análisis de isoenzimas, los datos no son concluyentes, pues tanto la cantidad de muestras analizadas como la cantidad de imprimadores utilizados no es suficiente para emitir conclusiones. Por otra parte, es importante resaltar el aporte de esta investigación, porque en la literatura no se encontraron referencias específicas sobre estos ecotipos de la especie, siendo mencionados únicamente por Moreira (1997).
