Abstract

En un ensayo con acodos aéreos en jaúl (Alnus acuminata), en el que se utilizó Rootone F como tratamiento para promover la formación de raíces, no se observó diferencias entre los porcentajes de enraizado de acodos tratados y de los testigos (P > 0,1). Los porcentajes de los acodos que desarrollaron las raíces fueron de 37 y 44 por ciento por lo que se concluya que el acodo aéreo es un método adecuado de propagación agámica de la especie.
