Abstract

[Resumen] El presente trabajo pretende comparar dos métodos semiautomáticos para la medida de benceno, tolueno y xilenos en muestras de aire. Uno de ellos se basa en la cromatografía de gases con detección de ionización de llama mientras que el otro se basa en la cromatografía de gases con detección de fotoionización. Dicha comparativa se evaluará basándose en el cálculo de diferentes parámetros analíticos así como la aplicación de dos tipos de pruebas de significación a los datos de las muestras recogidas y analizados con ambos equipos durante una semana de muestreo. Además, se evaluarán los perfiles semanales de estos compuestos orgánicos volátiles junto con otros precursores de ozono.

[Resumo] Este traballo pretende comparar dous métodos semiautomáticos para a medida de benceno, tolueno e xilenos en mostras de aire. Un deles baséase na cromatografía de gases con detección de ionización de chama mentres que o outro baséase na cromatografía de gases con detección de fotoionización. A dita comparativa avaliarase baseándose no cálculo de diferentes parámetros analíticos así como a aplicación de dous tipos de probas de significación aos datos das mostras recollidas e analizados con ambos os dous equipos durante unha semana de mostraxe. Ademais, avaliaranse os perfís semanais destes compostos orgánicos volátiles xunto con outros precursores de ozono.

[Abstract] This work tries to compare two semi-automatic methods for the measurement of benzene, toluene and xylenes in air samples. One of them is based on gas chromatography with ionization detection and another one is based on gas chromatography with photoionisation detection. This comparison will be evaluated based on different analytical parameters calculation and the application of two signification tests of data of the samples collected and analysed with the two instruments during a sampling week. Also, weekly profiles of volatile organic compounds and other ozone precursors will be evaluated.
