[Abstract] In the present article, we made a study of the sociodemographic-penal profile and the cognitive distortions of internal men punished of the Prison of Pereiro de Aguiar (Ourense) who fulfilled sentence by crimes against the sexual freedom. For the description we for- med two sub-groups based on the type of committed crime, made up of subjects that fulfilled sexual sentence by sexual crimes against adult victims and crimes against minors. To all of them it was applied to a series of tests obtaining therefore a sociode- mographic profile to them, penal and psycho- logical in which, besides to find the global scores of the group of sexual delinquents in general, the scores of sub-group were compa- red both. The results as much indicated that the sexual delinquents of adult women as the child molesters showed cognitive distortions on the violation in adult women and about the sexual relation between adults and minors. The possible findings of the investigation could offer directions to improve the pro- grams of prevention and human problematic treatment directed to this and social one.

[Resumen] En el presente artículo, realizamos un estudio del perfil sociodemográfico-penal y de las distorsiones cognitivas de 20 internos varones penados de la Prisión de Pereiro de Aguiar (Ourense) que cumplían condena por delitos contra la libertad sexual. Para la des- cripción formamos dos subgrupos en función del tipo de delito cometido, compuesto por sujetos que cumplían condena por delitos sexuales contra víctimas adultas y delitos sexuales contra menores. A todos estos inter- nos se les aplicó una serie de pruebas obte- niendo así un perfil sociodemográfico, penal y psicológico en el que, además de hallar las puntuaciones globales del grupo de delin- cuentes sexuales en general, se compararon las puntuaciones de los dos subgrupo. Los resultados indican que tanto los delincuentes sexuales de mujeres adultas como los abusa- dores de menores presentaban distorsiones cognitivas sobre la violación en mujeres adul- tas y acerca de la relación sexual entre adultos y menores.
